Overview

The BAe 146's cabin size provides ample room for out-fitting with specialist surveillance, search & rescue equipment, such as air to ground radar and forward-looking infra-red cameras.

A door modification package allows equipment such as sonar buoys, flares, life rafts and supplies to be dropped from the aircraft.

The BAe 146's combination of fast cruise speed, endurance and low speed manoeuvrability makes it an ideal aircraft for surveillance and search & rescue missions.
