Beyond the standard heavy maintenance experience, Tronos has built a fully capable and experienced to successfully implement complex aircraft conversion. One conversion undertaking modified a BAe 146 passenger jet to a fire fighting airtanker in a program which lasted from 2008 to mid 2015. Tronos oversaw every facet of the program which included system and component design, manufacturing, DO-160 / Environmental testing as well as Flight Testing. Ultimately receiving Supplemental Type Certificate approval under Aircraft standard category.
