Manufacturing Engineering:

Inspection:

  • CMM 115” by 58” (with 5 Axis probing)
  • Hexagon portable measuring arm with touch probe and laser scanning)
  • Optical Comparator


Material Testing:

  • 250kN servo-hydraulic load frame for static/dynamic testing.
  • 1.5kN electromechanical test frame.
  • Metallographic suite (section, mount, polish, etch, optical and scanning electron microscopy).
  • Hardness (Rockwell) Testing.
  • Archimedes density determination.


Additive Manufacturing:

  • Renishaw RenAM 500Q building metallic components using Nickel alloy 625
  • Renishaw RenAM 500S with EBS building components using Nickel alloy 625
  • Renishaw RenAM 250 building components using Ti-6Al-4V, Gr5
  • Ultimaker S5 (x3) Additive built components from various polymer materials.  
  • Formlabs Form3B (x4) Additive built parts utilizing Stereolithography using various photopolymer materials (including biocompatible and casting wax)
  • Formlabs Form3BL (similar to Form3B with larger build envelope)


Precision Machining:

  • Mazak QT Nexus 250-II CNC turning max 24” dia by 18”.
  • Mazak QT Nexus 200 CNC with live tooling.
  • DMU80 5 Axis mill 35” by 25” by 25”.
  • FIRST MCV 1000 CNC milling 41” by 21” by 20”.
  • Cincinnati Cylindrical Grinder 10” by 24”
  • Proth Surface Grinder 10” by 24”
  • Hardinge Toolroom Lathe

ISO 9001:2015 Certification through NSF International:

  •  ISO 9001 is the world's most widely recognized quality management standard and helps organizations to meet the expectations and needs of their customers. As part of the ISO 9001:2015 certification process, Tronos engaged in an audit of our business processes as well as our product quality environments.


AS9100 Certification through NSF International:

  • AS9100D (with Additive Manufacturing) is an aerospace standard based on the ISO 9001 quality system requirements. AS9100 takes the ISO 9001 requirements and supplements them with additional quality system requirements, which are established by the aerospace industry.


Transport Canada Approved Aerospace Manufacturing Facility:

  • 561 Approves the manufacture of new components
  • 571 & 573 Allows for the repair and manufacture of replacement components.


Canadian Controlled Goods (ITAR):

  • The facility is a controlled access facility


Health Canada Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL):

  • License #13869 allows Tronosjet to manufacture Class 1 medical devices in Canada.


By completing this level of certification, Tronosjet continues to demonstrate our desire to provide a world class management system, while continuing to improve our products and services through improved internal processes and diversification.
